Civil Service World

Civil Service World is the monthly magazine and online hub for the latest news, views, and analysis from across Whitehall. It enables private sector organisations to promote thought-leadership, gain brand exposure, and demonstrate innovative solutions.

Civil Service World exists to help civil service leaders and managers understand their working environments and achieve more in their jobs. Providing authoritative, high-quality journalism to the civil service and national politicians, our print title is the only independent professional publication available to every senior civil servant in the UK. The brand’s success is based both on our unique access to top Whitehall officials, and the trust we’ve built up across government.

Since its relaunch in February 2013, the magazine has tightened its focus on the issues affecting senior civil service leaders and managers.

Both newspaper and website are produced by Dods, the specialist political publishing house.

Veredus is part of the Capita Group. As a business it brings a deep understanding of the Civil Service. It has been a leading supplier of executive search and assessment to the Civil Service for over 20 years and recruited over 600 senior roles on its behalf. This deep understanding means we appreciate the journey the Civil Service has been on from the past to the present day and how its needs and expectations have changed over time around diversity.

At Veredus we believe that everyone has their own unique abilities, and we are committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion both internally and externally. That’s why we’ve made sure our networks extend beyond the traditional parameters. It is this commitment that has enabled us to secure the kite mark of Investors in Diversity (IiD) accreditation from the National Centre for Diversity
